All in for Josh!
We're producing a film about Josh Fohner's road to recovery and the community he's inspired along the way.
In 2016, Josh Fohner's life was forever changed when he suffered a severe traumatic brain injury (TBI) leading him to lose function of his entire body, including speech, and leaving him in a vegetative state. Despite doctors suggesting his parents "pull the plug" Josh is defying all odds and upending beliefs in the medical community about TBI recovery.
The film will be told through the adventures, trials, and victories along the 900-mile bike ride 12 people made in the summer of 2021. We’ll highlight the people who gave their summer, and then some, to help Josh realize his dream of riding on his adaptive bike from the site of his accident in Colorado back home to Springdale, Arkansas.
This is a story of tragedy, recovery, hope, grit, the NWA cycling community, and sacrificial love.

Meet the Director
Garrett Hubbard, the founder of GH Studios, learned from some of the best storytellers out there—journalists. He has spent the past 20 years cultivating an elegant narrative driven video style married with an artful photographic vision. His work has taken him to the White House, the Olympics, The Royal Wedding, and many other places around the world. He became the Senior Video Journalist at USA TODAY before he started his own storytelling studio. He has had the opportunity to tell stories for NIKE, Google, The Washington Post, The New York Times and more.
Garrett’s work has been honored by some of the most prestigious awards in journalism including the White House News Photographers Association and National Press Photographers Association. These awards have landed him in the Oval Office twice to shake the President’s hand (Garrett opted instead for a fist bump and a high-five). The documentary he directed “Trapped: Cash Bail in America” which was funded by YouTube Originals was well received in the film festival circuit and one by one counties and states are reforming their cash bail laws. These awards have given him a platform to speak around the country to teach others about the importance and power of visual storytelling. More important than the recognition, Garrett has seen his work bring relief and partnership in difficult and unlikely places worldwide.
